Online therapy or Telehealth allows you to access therapy support where ever you may be. Many people have come to enjoy Telehealth because of the freedom and flexibility that it allows for sessions.
Telehealth may be a good fit for you if you:
Have a busy or irregular work schedule
Struggle with transportation
Have trouble finding regular childcare support during session times
May be dealing with physical issues or illness
Live in a rural or remote area
Want therapy support while on vacation
An online session is much like a Facetime or Skype call. I use a free, HIPAA compliant software called Doxy.me for my online sessions. It's easy to access and all you need for sessions is an internet connection, laptop or computer with webcam and a private space.
I offer a free 15 minute "trial" so you can see what online therapy is like if you've never tried it.
Research suggests that Telehealth sessions are just as beneficial as in person and though it is not for everyone, many clients have had high success with Telehealth support. I am able to provide individual, couples therapy and brainspotting via Telehealth.
